Damaris uploaded a video clip of herself each and every day of 2008. The clips are meant to showcase the wide array of emotions and facial movements capable by Damaris. The purpose remains an exploration in self-awareness and self-exploitation. By forcing herself to capture her features contorting and ripening each day, Damaris is undisputedly put herself "out there." 365 Faces is a lonely, narcissistic effort purposefully uploaded in public viewing to invoke external interaction and analysis. The footage was used in a perfomance. The final product: Damaris wantd to physically replicate her experience uploading clips to a public forum. So she held an actual LIVE Auction of 5 selected Damarisland clips (yes, people actually now OWN a limited edition Damarisland facial expression). 5/365 clips down 360 to go.
